Taking the Countryside to Them

At Country Classrooms we need help to educate school children up and down the country about farming, animals, plants and food.

We understand that farmers haven't trained to become teachers and teachers are not milking cows at 6 a.m. that is why we want to partner the two professions to bring an exceptional experience to students nationally.

Teachers

Are you a keen, enthusiastic teacher with a love for Science and hands-on learning? Can you stand up in front of a whole school and promote animals visiting a school, chicks hatching and plants growing? Do you have the knowledge and understanding of the New National Curriculum 2014, excellent behaviour management strategies and a passion to promote Country Classrooms which gives unique learning experiences to children?

Farmers

Are you looking for a new diversification opportunity for your farm? Do you have the passion to inspire the new generation and give them an insight into where their food comes from?

Upon recomendation from DEFRA and to maximise animal welfare we only want to move the animals a minimal distance, so we are looking to work with local farmers nationally to help bring the Country Classrooms Experience to school children far and wide.
